Data Security Incident Update

FireKeepers Casino Hotel wants to make our customers and employees aware that our ongoing investigation has confirmed details of a recent security incident involving unauthorized access into our computer system. We take the privacy and security of our customers and employees’ information very seriously, and sincerely apologize for any concern or inconvenience this may cause. We have undertaken an aggressive response to investigate and resolve this incident, enhance our data security, and support our customers and employees.
Data security experts have determined that credit and debit card transactions for food, beverage and retail purchases made between September 7, 2014 and April 25, 2015 may have been affected by this incident. As the investigation progressed, it was revealed that a file storage server, containing personal information for certain customers, employees and their dependents, also was affected. The security compromise has been contained and our systems are operating securely. We have also taken a number of additional steps, and will be taking additional steps, to enhance the security of our systems and information on our systems.
