The Finance Department is responsible for managing the Tribe’s annual budget and its cash and investments, processing accounts payable and payroll, administering per capita distributions, and preparing monthly financial reports for the Tribal Council, management, and federal grantor agencies. The Department is led by the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

The Finance Department exists to:

  • Account for all Tribal operations in accordance with governmental generally accepted accounting principles
  • Provide management and the Tribal Council with timely and accurate financial information to aid in the carrying out of their duties
  • Ensure the Tribe’s compliance with finance-related provisions of grants, contracts, and other applicable requirements

Per Capita Distributions

In accordance with the Tribe’s Revenue Allocation Plan (RAP), approved by the National Indian Gaming Commission, each year the Tribal Council certifies a list of eligible members to receive per capita distributions. This list is approved on or about November 30 of each year.
